Prefabricated Building

Prefabricated structures are produced from modules, they are required to follow the same building codes as permanent structures. Before the installation of a prefabricated building, the site for its construction is inspected regarding the type of soil required for the foundation of the structure. For further approval, the site is inspected by a third party to ensure it meets the local, state, and international building codes. Once the various inspections are completed, modular companies must obtain building permits, utility permits, and occupancy permits.
